Easiest Way to Get on Track? Track Night in America!

The Sports Car Club of America has released their 2016 "Track Night in America" schedule, and it's an awesome program that the NMS team is targeting for later this year. Now in it's second year, the Track Night in America (TNA) program was designed to make it very easy for drivers to take their own cars to the local track on a week night, and get a little experience in a learning their way around the pavement in a safe and relatively low cost format. By "relatively low cost", it's less than the hundreds you'd pay at a regular track day or high performance weekend, but not free. After the success of events at a few locations last year, TNA is now expanding to new tracks in more locations, and looks to be a big hit!

For the NMS squad, we're excited to see that two of the new tracks in the series this year are close to each of  us. For NMS-South that means Carolina Motorsports Park  (CMP) in Kershaw SC (a bit north of Camden), while NMS-North is looking at the brand new facility of Dominion Raceway in Thornburg VA.

While your NMS squad remains focused mostly on driving in local Autocross competition, we will continue to expand our motorsports driving in 2016 to national level events, as well as building on our previous experience at other types of events on NASCAR tracks, working at Atlanta...., High Performance Driving Experiences at CMP, and charity laps at Virginia International Raceway.
