WEEKEND APPROACHING AT WARP SPEED!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the middle of May, Armed Forces Day, one week before the Indy 500, Monaco F1 race, and NASCAR Coca-Cola 600! Anything going on this weekend?
YES!
Saturday, we will have the NMS Miata on track at Carolina Motor Sports Park as Brian will be driving in High Performance Driving Experience with an instructor, over 4 sessions all day long in learning the finer details of driving on a track. This is not racing, just important training to improve driving skills in a safe environment.
Also, Robert will be driving some Ford products at the Ford Eco Boost Challenge in Raleigh NC, and should have time to also travel to CMP and see how the Miata is enjoying the day.
Sunday, Brian continues with day 2 of HPDE, with four more sessions on track, as Robert will be competing in the next Tidewater Sports Car Club autocross on the Little Creek Naval Base by the Chesapeake Bay.
All in all, that makes for a fun weekend for the NMS team in three different states, so look for some blog updates, photos and video reports next week.
