Keels and Wheels

Welcome Comrades! Car made in Russia!

Last weekend was a busy car-spotting time. After hitting the local Porsche dealers 75th anniversary, my friend Mitch Hackett mentioned another car show with a bunch of Jaguars. Let's go!

Long Island Maritime Museum

This event was the Keels and Wheels car show held at the Long Island Maritime Museum. It was a great setting on the water, and included open admission to their museum, wood working shop, and other buildings. A variety of European cars, including some of my favorite category of cars: "Stuff You Dont See Every Day!"

There was some serious wood working tools and equipment in this barn!

Something you don't see every day, a TVR.

1974 TVR

The spare tire is just behind the front bumper, and helped this car pass US safety requirements

ANOTHER car you don't see every day!

Carrozzeria InterMeccanica, Turin

Funny from Lotus

I'm guessing this Lotus Elan is from 1969.

Here's your trivia question of the day.

Morgan +4, and an Austin Healey 3000.

Austin Healey 3000 MKIII. A great Father's Day gift!

I think this is a Riley, left hand drive.

Love the knock off wheel hubs.

YOU get a Jag, YOU get a Jag...EVERYONE gets a Jag!
