This Saturday is the annual 24 hour race at Le Mans, and among other highlights, it's the 100th anniversary. One thing that you might have heard is that there is a NASCAR Camaro running! Once in a while they allow a different car, or a protoype, or some kind of car that doesn't fit the regular categories of racing, and this year it's NASCAR action for 24 hours!
The other big news is that in the fastest hypercar class, Ferrari has returned after 50 years, and they've qualified on pole! As if that isn't enough excitement, Porsche has returned to this race in honor of their 75th anniversary, so there's just all kinds of history being celebrated.
If you aren't in the crowd of 300,000 or so in France, you can watch the race on line with the FIA WEC TV and 24H LE MANS TV App. You can also watch on Motor Trend if you get that channel or app. The race kicks off 10AM Eastern time in the USA, and believe it or not, it runs for 24 hours, just like the name says!
