Live Coverage from Bristol Today: May 14 2016!

Coming at you live at 8AM Eastern Time will be live timing from the Tire Rack Thunder Valley Showdown, part of the Sports Car Club of America Match Tour from Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. The NMS Miata with Brian Nixon (#86) and Jason Rucker (#186) will be in the first heat, with the first car off the line right around 8AM Saturday.

Good luck to both drivers, as they compete in the E Street field of 15 entries, and over the two days versus 195 drivers in many different classes. The NMS team will be setting times in this morning's session and also on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning to determine if they get into the finals on Sunday afternoon.

I spoke to Brian last night, and after Friday's Test-N-Tune session, they have decided to go with the Bridgestone RE71-R tires this weekend, and will be trying some different suspension adjustments with the Kumho tires at a future event.
