Scenes From Daytona

Smart Fans Use Safety Gear Too, Like Earplugs
Have you heard of this 24 hour race they do in Florida at Daytona? NMS-South just happened to be there, both to watch the race and to drop off the next Lemons car at a shop for a cage to be installed, and here's a quick looks of some of the action. The race just ended Sunday afternoon under red flag conditions, with so much rain they really couldn't race. Probably the biggest news is that the overall winning Cadillac had an expert team of drivers that included former F1 world champ and current LeMans champ Fernando Alonso. Stayed tuned in May when Fernando will also be trying to win the Indy 500. If he's successful there, he'll be only the second driver to win the unofficial triple crown of auto racing, meaning Indy 500, 24 Hours of LeMans, and the Monaco F1 races.
