Abandoned Auto Auction Action Preview

Coming up tomorrow on September 6th is another quarterly abandoned auto auction at the big Naval Base in Norfolk Virginia, so our intrepid reporter headed over there today to get a pre-auction peek at the fine, fine vehicles that will go under the gavel. Well, they don't really have a gavel, and much less put the cars underneath it, since the auctioneer just kind does it all verbally, but you get the idea.

At this event you buy these cars AS IS, you put down your money, and you take your chances! The fun part to me is trying to estimate the selling price, and being dumb enough to put my predictions on line and then keep a running tally of how things worked out. Most of the time I end up with a losing record, so maybe I need to relax the rules and say that any predicted price that comes within, oh, about a BAZILLION DOLLARS of the selling price counts as a win! The other really fun part of this is that since I invented this game, I also get to make up the rules! Here we go with the predictions, and we'll be back in a few days to add it all up...or change some more rules so that I win!

Here's the info we gathered, some of the info is missing since we forgot to pick up the bidder sheet today, and not all these cars are listed on line Gene Daniels Auctions but we took our best guess on these. Stay tuned in a day or two for the results.
