Miata Engine Build - Day 1

I need to preface all this and future engine build posts by saying that this project would not be possible with all the help and input from Chuck, Kyle, and Jason. I'm enjoying learning all this cool stuff, but their time and experience make it all possible.

First we need to measure the clearances on the crank

Plastigage flattens out

Measure the Plastigage

Cool oil squirters to cool the bottom of the piston

Oil squirters installed, can see the main bearings

Assembly lube

Install crank

 Piston assembly

Now with rings, ready to go in the motor
