| Lamborghini Miura, always amazing! |
Not just mere "coffee," but the title includes "cappuccino" for this group in Charlotte. In a huge field of Porsches, Ferraris, Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Mercedes', McLarens, and some other Alfas, Triumphs, Ducati motorcycles, VWs, Volvos, etc, it was Euro heavy at this monthly get-together. While most Cars and Coffee events are open to anyone that drives up, this group has an actual membership and limits the parking lot at the mall to just their members! I'm not going to call them snobby, but they attract a lot of the rest of us people to check out their cars. I'm not a member of the group, but I like seeing the cars. The highlight for me was a Lamborghini Miura in the first photo above. |

At events like this, there can be so many Porsche 911s and BMWs that those cars hardly deserve another look. For a cheaper Porsche like mine, pretty much nobody is looking at my car when all those fancier rides are around!
