At the end of February there was a very special day, known around the world as "Saturday!" If you're not familiar with this event, it's a day that I don't have to go to work AND I don't have to go to school! OK, that makes it just like the other 6 days of the week, but a "Saturday" also means that there might be a Cars and Coffee somewhere around Charlotte! This one was held at GMP Performance up in Mooresville NC. GMP specializes in servicing German cars, from every day drivers to racecar work, so that makes them our kind of place! They have another location in Charlotte, and another over in Atlanta. 

I aimed to get there right around 8am or 0800, whichever came first. As I stopped at the exit ramp getting off of I-77, I was quickly surrounded by a BUNCH of German cars, mostly Mercedes and BMWs. For some reason I'd normally joke that I felt like "surely all these people are going where I'm going," but in this case that was TRUE! We drove a few blocks and turned right to go to GMP and it was BUMPER TO BUMPER. There were TONS of cars going to the same place, so I figured this was going to be pretty good!
